Guillmero Del Toro:



Guillmero Del Toro  is a Mexican film director, screenwriter, producer, and novelist. In his filmmaking career, del Toro has alternated between Spanish-language dark pieces pieces, such as The Devil's Backbone (2001) and Pan's Labyrinth (2006),

Del Toro's work is characterised by a strong connection to fairy tales and horror, with an effort to infuse visual or poetic beauty.He has a lifelong fascination with monsters, which he considers symbols of great power.Del Toro is known for his use of insectile and religious imagery, the themes of Catholicism and celebrating imperfection, underworld and clockwork motifs, dominant amber lighting.

PAN'S LABYRINTH (2006)













Although the works by Guillmero Del Toro is more dark than our planned storyline for our trailer, the way Del Toro projects the genre of Fantasy Drama through the mise-en-scene and character is still interesting and of value to our research and ideas. 

Peter Jackson: 



Sir Peter Robert Jackson, (born 31 October 1961) is a New Zealand film director, producer and screenwriter who is best known for his The Lord of the Rings trilogy and its prequel The Hobbit trilogy, adapted from the novels of the same name by J. R. R. Tolkien. His other notable films include King Kong, Heavenly Creatures, The Frighteners, Forgotten Silver, Braindead/Dead Alive and The Lovely Bones. He has also co-produced District 9 and documentary West of Memphis.

Jackson is known for his attention to detail, a habit of shooting scenes from many angles, Often films close-ups using wide angles, Enormous visual scope with emphasis on landscape.

Tim Burton: 



Timothy Walter "Tim" Burton (born August 25, 1958) is an American film director, producer, artist, writer, poet and stop motion artist. He is known for his dark, gothic, macabre and quirky horror and fantasy films such as Beetlejuice,Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Dark Shadows and Frankenweenie, and for blockbusters such as Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Batman, its first sequel Batman Returns, Planet of the Apes,Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland.

Tim Burton's unique style is most notably seen through his trademark twisted vision or contrasting a colourful and immensely magical element.
