Lana Del Rey Summertime Sadness - Post Production

Lana Del Rey vs Cedric Gervais's video for 'Summertime Sadness' uses a number of effects and shots that could be used for our 1950's scenes.
                                         

 I particularly like this close up of her touching the bottom of her skirt, as this could be used as a way of introducing our protagonist into the 1950's time period. Not only the shot but the white nails and skirt are also interesting as the colour white is associated with innocence and perhaps vulnerability. As a group we could take note of this and influence our costume through this, as our characters situation stands her out as being highly vulnerable and innocent.

 Between 1:14-1:18; the images show a flicker between multiple shots consisting of different shades.  

The effects and transition between shots could be used to also show the fact that this is in fact a different time period, as this is a key part to making the idea successful within the trailer.
