In order for our trailer to easily portray the different time periods in our trailer we need to make sure that the mise-en-scene fully reflects the time in which the shot is set.
Within our trailer we have 3 different filming periods, the 1950's, the 1980's and the present day. Our protagonist is a teenage girl around 16, therefore it's not only the costume which needs to portray the time setting but makeup as well.

For the majority of the trailer which is set in the present day, our protagonists makeup should be something simple, and less iconic than the makeup seen in other shots. The makeup should reflect the age of our character, 16+, therefore the makeup should be simple and something you would someone of this age typically wear.
